Lines & proportions – Our window designers have copied the historic detailing of an original flush casement, implementing the same lines and proportions. Envisage has that same simplistic look, which can be adapted to include astragal bars.

Handles & stays – The original handles and stays used on a traditional flush casement have also been the inspiration behind the handles and stays for the Envisage range. It took our hardware specialists many painstaking hours to perfect the detailing of the door furniture.

Shades & textures – It would usually be the case that a traditional flush casement had a standard white finish and very flat design. Envisage is a bit more diverse and exciting than that. This beautifully flush window is available in a host of appealing colours and several woodgrains to help you match Envisage windows to any brick, stone or other type of décor.

Old flush casements fall down when it comes to security. We sought to rectify this with the Envisage range by developing an advanced locking mechanism that we decided to call ‘Secure It’. To be absolutely sure that it would be capable of withstanding any form of attack, we subjected the Secure It system to over 30,000 testing procedures. Secure It also complies with PAS24 requirements and can meet Secured by Design standards – the Police-run scheme. Astragal bars are just one of a number of possible accessories you can incorporate into an Envisage window. The application of astragal bars makes it seem as though the window is made up of multiple individual panes. As far as other accessories are concerned, you can also request arched-head inserts to soften the lines of the frames, and pick from a series of window cills, including deeper cills. .

Using modern technology, you can do so many amazing things with glass, including creating ultra-slim glass coatings that you don’t even realise are there. We fill the sealed window unit with inert gas, and also fit a warm-edge spacer bar in there to establish a thermal barrier so that heat is kept in and the cold is kept out.
